What this notice covers

vcblry.com and the trainer at app.vcblry.com and app.idearig.com. VCBLRY is the vocabulary trainer; IdeaRig is who operates it. The addresses differ; the operator, named below, does not.

This notice lives on vcblry.com. Older links to it on idearig.com — in emails already sent, and in stored consent records — keep working: they redirect here, permanently, and that redirect is not going to be removed.

Service provider

VCBLRY is a personal, non-commercial project operated by a private individual in Germany under the name IdeaRig. It is free to use, carries no advertising, and is not offered as a business.

This address is monitored and is the fastest way to reach me about anything on this site — including legal matters. If you need my full name and postal address — to serve a formal notice, for example — write to that address and I will provide them.

Responsibility for content

I am responsible for the content of this site. The vocabulary material is drawn from publicly published Goethe-Institut word lists and my own course notes; the trainer, its explanations and this site’s text are my own work.

Data protection

The controller for personal data, and everything about what is collected and why, is set out in the privacy policy. What the site stores on your device is covered in the cookie policy.

Liability for links

This site contains few external links. Where it does, the linked content is the responsibility of its own operator. I checked such links for unlawful content when adding them; ongoing monitoring without concrete evidence of an infringement is not reasonable. If I am made aware of an infringement I will remove the link promptly.

Consumer dispute resolution

I am neither obliged nor willing to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board (Verbraucher­schlichtungs­stelle) under the VSBG.
